This 4-week teen mindfulness art workshop will help the individual boost confidence and social skills while focusing on their positive qualities and attributes.
Teens ages 12 to 15 are welcome to join this 4-week mindfulness group class that is focused on boosting the individuals social skills, confidence, self-esteem and self-kindness.
A different art exercise will be facilitated each week by the life coach/master level art therapist that will focus on the group members positive qualities and attributes.
Classes will be held on 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27 at 1 PM to 1:45 PM.
Week 1 Art Exercise: Reward Yourself
Week 2 Art Exercise: Give Yourself a Loving Hand
Week 3 Art Exercise: Sea Creature Adventure
Week 4 Art Exercise: Funny Comic
*Important Note: Please have these materials available for each class:
1.) Two to three pieces of 8.5 X 11 white pieces of paper
2.) Any writing material, for example: crayons, markers, colored pencils, pastels or any writing drawing material the individual is drawn to using (If possible, the drawing material can be switched up each week. For instance week one, have markers, week two the individual can use crayons and so on).
