Teens ages 13 to 17 are welcome to join this in-person, one hour art empowerment class that focuses on building connection with the self, to one another and to the community.
I am extremely excited to announce that I am partnering up with The Massage Studio to bring in-person classes to the community!
Come join me for a face friendly, in-person class, focusing on bringing connection and empowerment within the self and to one another!
This class is designed specifically for teens ages 13 to 17. An art activity will be facilitated by me, Dianne Furphy, a life coach and art therapist, to guide the participants to come together in unity and see their place in the community and as an individual. The activity consists of drawing on and piecing together a puzzle that is symbolic to helping the teen bring more awareness to their inner self, along with showing the connection to their external world. This will happen by sharing a deep conversation based on the art that is created. That's the powerful and healing modality that art provides: opening us up and bringing us back to center. Through this class, the student will be guided in the process of bringing connection back into their life: connection to oneself, connection to one another. Bring your smile and let's get connected!
Art supplies for this class will be provided and will entail using markers, pencils and blank puzzles! This class is metaphoric and symbolic to learning more about yourself within by using art as a self-expression.
This class will be held on Sunday March 27, 2022. Since this class is limited to 16 teens for each time slot, there will be two different classes held this day at 11AM & 2PM.
