Confidence-Building Workshop Ages 10-13

Service Description

Tweens ages 9 to 13 are welcome to join this in-person 4-week Confidence-Building Art-Based Workshop that is focused on boosting the individuals confidence self-esteem and social skills. Tools and techniques will be provided for the individual to take with them to enhance their self-esteem. This is an interactive workshop that will educate on the topics: Week 1: Confidence & Self-Esteem Week 2: Self-Love, Self-Care & Rewarding Yourself Week 3: Self-Talk/Mantras/Positive Affirmations Week 4: The Importance of Gratitude & Laughter Each week, discussions among the group members will be held on the topics listed above, along with the coach/art therapist providing education, tools and resources to help benefit the individual. A different art exercise will also be facilitated each week that will focus on the positive attributes in the individual which allows for the individual to self-express and learn more about themselves. ART MATERIALS: Different art materials will be provided during each class. The participant will be able to take home their art creation along with the coping skills learned during class. This workshop is limited to 8 participants. Being this workshop is very interactive & personable, I found the tweens feel more comfortable sharing & opening up in a smaller group setting. ***THIS IS A DROP-OFF WORKSHOP FOR TWEENS!*** This is also a non-clinical class. FOR: Kids tweens 9 to 13 LOCATION: 1501 Lower State Road (Building C - Up stairs) DATES: Sundays 6/2, 6/9, 6/23, 6/30 TIME: 3:30PM to 4:30PM PRICE: $175 per individual ***THERE IS NO CLASS ON FATHER'S DAY 6/16 SIDE NOTES: Classes will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
