Students will explore engineering concepts around simple span (paper) bridges, their purpose, materials, and how loads are distributed. The workshop will apply these concepts with the construction of their very own simple paper simple span bridge which will be weighted until failure. WHEN: 9/18/2026 TIME: 11:00AM - 12:00PM AGES: 8-13 PRICE: $27 per person LOCATION: 1501 Lower State Road North Wales, PA 19454 Building C, 2nd Floor ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED. This STEAM class is limited to 6 participants. Facilitated by Brian Fitzhenry, PE, a licensed engineer of 20+ years No student will be denied admission on the basis of race, color, gender or ethnic origin.
