Teen Journaling + Art-Making Class 1/4

Service Description

Teens (ages 13 to 18) are welcome to join this group workshop where a personable space is held to journal and self-express through creating and/or writing. Questions and prompts will be provided. We will write/draw individually and afterwards there will be space for you to share and process your writings/creations as a group (this is optional - do what you feel is comfortable for you). WHAT ARE ART PROMPTS: Art prompts are specific topics, questions, statements to encourage you to self-reflect on areas within your life. Prompts are deep introspections to gain a greater understanding of oneself. SIDE NOTE: This workshop is for both beginner and experienced journalers who want to build on their creative self-expression and explore internal feelings & emotions in life within a group. This class is focused on time of self-reflection and coming together as a group to connect however the class takes us. Group is limited to 8 participants. ***THIS IS A DROP-OFF WORKSHOP FOR TEENS!*** FOR: Teens ages 13 to 18 LOCATION: 1501 Lower State Road (Building C - 2nd FL) DATE: January 4 TIME: 2:00PM to 3:00PM PRICE: $35 per individual SUPPLIES: Journal book + pen + art supplies are included but you're welcome to bring your own supplies and book too SIDE NOTES: Classes will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Facilitated by Dianne Furphy, MS Certified Life & Mindfulness Coach holding a Master's Degree in Art Therapy Dianne has all updated documentation for clearances: -Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance -Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance -Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Family Criminal Clearance No student will be denied admission on the basis of race, color, gender or ethnic origin.
