Open Studio ART for Teens 4/21

Service Description

Teens ages 14 to 18 are welcome to join this free-flowing open studio time to self-express through art. This is a class for teens to be kreative and make new friends. Open Studio Art is when different art supplies are put out and the youth can use their creativity to self-express through different mediums. Creating art helps release big feelings and emotions, is used as a coping skill, helps boost self-esteem, gives one a sense of purpose, connect to self and others, + more. This open studio time allows the individual to explore with different art mediums. Teens are welcome to bring their own art materials too although art materials will be provided each week. Open Studio Art is designed for Teens to use their kreative expression. ● If your youth has big emotions and feelings, this is a great class to release through the creating process. ● If your youth is feeling they don't fit in at school or other places and is in need of connection and new friends, this is a space made just for that - through art making. ● If your youth has been feeling down and has low self-esteem, this class will help in building confidence and uplift and enhance mood. FOR: Teens ages 14 to 18 LOCATION: 1501 Lower State Road (Building C - 2nd FL, Up stairs) DATE: Monday April 21st TIME: 4:30PM-6PM PRICE: $35 per individual SIDE NOTES: Classes will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. No student will be denied admission on the basis of race, color, gender or ethnic origin. However, Kreate What U Want reserves the right to refuse enrollment to participants with a history of disruptive behavior or for any impediment to the learning process of the group as a whole.
