Our children’s young minds have the ability to grasp concepts like space, direction, and distance. So let them learn more about the three-dimensional space around them through this Introduction into Architecture. This program will provide students with an opportunity to identify relationships between geometric areas using tools and architectural techniques to design a space from their imaginations. FOR: ages 9 to 13 DATES: Wednesdays - 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29 TIME: 11AM-12:30PM LOCATION: 1501 Lower State Road, North Wales PA 19454 Building C, 2nd FL PRICE: $195 pp for the total of 4 weeks Summary of Each Week Week 1: Introduce Architecture Concepts, Use Measuring Tools, and Sketch a Room Week 2: Learn the Basic of Floor Plans and Observe Existing Conditions Week 3: Design a Building Using Techniques such as Napkin Sketch and Bubble Diagrams Week 4: Complete Final Floor Plan of your Design ***THIS IS A DROP-OFF WORKSHOP!*** This class is facilitated by Brian J. Fitzhenry, PE. Brian is a licensed Architectural Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the industry. No student will be denied admission on the basis of race, color, gender or ethnic origin.
